Haflinger & Associates successfully completes a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice. All of our peer reviews to date have been “clean” opinions in which the reviewer has concluded the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA).
All California member firms that perform audits must participate in peer review as administered by the California Society of CPA’s following standards issued by the AICPA. Furthermore, since our firm is a member of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, our peer reviewer is selected among other quality center firms that adhere to stricter standards of care, quality, ethics and independence.
Peer review also helps keep us current on the latest standards and trends in auditing employee benefit plans. This translates into more knowledgeable and “value-added” advice for those that rely on our services. Peer review offers assurance that we are committed to performing at the very highest level.
